The bracketed notes at the end of the analysis refer to sections in the annual write up that may be helpful in understanding the reasoning behind the write up. For example, NN represents North Node. The pertinent dates are at the end of this write up for quick reference. This write-up prints about six pages.
There are quite a few wonderful highlights for Aries this year. Helpful people coming your way and a strong feeling of optimism makes life's challenges shrink in size.
This year you will feel either a nudge toward the future and a slight realignment in your path toward it. If you were born in the time periods when the Nodes were across their present axis, this holds more importance - check those dates. You are likely to meet individuals who are helpful with your life goals; at times, however, taking that advice you may purposefully have solicited, can feel like taking bitter medicine. What's best for us may not always be the easiest. Jupiter opposite your sign in Libra until late October also tends to bring people back into our lives. This can be an excellent year to build skills, and to learn to recognize personal strengths and talents in order to claim these as your own. This can also be an exceptional year for spiritual growth; it is said that when a student is ready a teacher appears. When the nodal axis travels with Aries as the guiding direction, the individual emphasis is stronger than the relationship emphasis. Can we go it alone? Any opposition is always about relationships and compromise. In the south node we have our tools and skills. People born with an Aries North Node need to learn to stand on their own two feet, and be pioneering in an area of their lives defined by the house position (birth chart required for analysis). [NN]
Until late October Jupiter better known as Mr. Big stays in your seventh house of OTHERS. Yes, everybody in your life but you. This highlights relationships in general and the importance of being diplomatic, polite, and accommodating. It can be a little easier know to build things out of all proportion. You 'war' stories can become dramas, where what happened pales in comparison to your story-lines. You are also busy, busy, busy meeting new people. Legal matters can spring up with this one but hey so could romance, depending on your personal chart. The shift then is toward commitment, and those resources you have been focused on through to Saturn's influence of the past year and a half.
The Mercury periods highlight three areas in your life. The ones at the end of the year both 2004 and 2005, bring the 9th house into focus for Aries Sun in the Solar chart and for Aries rising individuals. This area of life is about expanding our horizons, venturing out there into the bigger world and acquiring new knowledge. Have you been considering going back to school, university or to gain additional vocational training. During these four months split into two time periods (listed below), you may find yourself contemplating these issues. This is also the area where we contemplate religion and philosophy - so you might find yourself pondering the meaning of life. This can also be a great time to begin teaching and sharing your knowledge outside those little circles. Journaling and writing your thoughts down might be wonderful activity.
The Mercury period in the Spring is highly personal, as it happens in your Sun sign, at some point it will trigger off that point in your horoscope. The Sun is the Engine in our lives, and represents the ego, identity, vitality, and what we are striving to become. So some lessons tend to come about who you are and who you wanted to be. This is also the time to pay attention to you general well-being, we can only neglect our diet for so long, our bodies need regular exercise, and we cannot hold onto bad habits indefinitely. Mercury by his nature only brings us the information, we have the choice about whether to accept it or ignore it. This time he just a little bit more persistent, so you may find those around you nagging you to shape up.
Around your birthday we have a Full Venus - so if you were born a day or two before or after March 30, you can expect to have a few wonderful days. However, if you started something new in the Spring of 2001 - it can now yield beautiful rewards. Any positive shifts and changes that took place back then are coming to fruition.
This theme has been going on for a year and a half now. It is about limitations and new structures within the home environment. At times we may feel stuck in one spot with this one, and it is sometimes harder to see those solutions. This can feel like the stereotypical father nagging you to get your house in order. Sometimes the solutions are simple, but it takes us time to recognize this. Commitments and responsibilities at home can feel like a burden, which can lead to a sense of frustration. Future security is what you strive toward here.
When Saturn moves onto Leo, the feeling lightens up - Saturn is not acute, just a constant steady backdrop to our lives. After mid-July you begin to regain a stronger sense of self-assurance. With work and steady effort you will achieve what you need. Our personal relationships need tender loving care during these times. That sense of happiness stems from within.
The third Mercury period in the Summer could be more fun, as it takes place in your fifth house of romance, and creativity. This time the busybody is reminding you about things you have ignored or neglected. We have to communicate in our relationships, share our dreams, wishes, hopes, and fears. This could be a reminder about how the two of you don't talk anymore. The areas of the astrological chart are complex - this area also represents our children. Are you talking with them or simply trying to tell them what they ought to be doing. We are talking about anything and everyone you love - how are effectively are you expressing your feelings? The main reminder is that you need to love what you are doing and love those around you. Anything found wanting at this point, needs repair. [Mercury]
At the same time Mercury travels through Leo and has taken up residency here for two months, Mars your ruling planet has moved to live in your second house of money, values, and priorities. He is going to park himself here for six months - clear through February 2006. Taurus is a stubborn, persistent, and steady sign whereas Mars is somewhat feisty, and likes to go at everything fast. Now that is out of the question, and you need to slow down, or failing that learn to control your innate need to move ahead quickly; progress will be slow and steady during this time. While Mars moves against the grain Oct 1-Dec 9, 2005 - everything tends slow down to a crawl; actually I measure this as one step forward and three steps back. The need to deal with money can be pronounced, income and expenses may not line up and the importance of proper budgeting enters the equation. Time may also become and issue, we do often hear that statement, time is money. You may not have enough time to do all the things you want, and the time to stream-line is here; learning time management might be the ticket. [Mars]
The Venus-Mars opposition (October) may further stimulate or aggravate relationships, now is not the time to dig your heels in, rather it is time to learn about compromise. Before we know it November is upon us, and Venus makes a different kind of statement in your career house. She sits atop forcing your attention to what you are doing in the Big World. Are you loving your work, are you pleased with your worldly pursuits? Are your efforts being appreciated? This can be the time for change, but more typically this begins the process of change as we learn to identify things in our life that have to change in order for us to feel fulfilled. [Venus]
