Aries is the first out of the gate, onto thin ice and always ahead of the pack. Dealing the frailties in human experience does not come quite as naturally for an Aries. "What do you mean I can't do anything about it" might be an Aries kind of battle cry.

As in 2006, the theme of emotions runs deep for Aries. Our actions—good, bad or indifferent—have impact on the lives of others. Dealing with family matters, money issues and facing our fears are topics on your mind this year. Issues are always more personal when we cannot step back and casually observe; rather we have to live through it. Logic takes the back seat when emotional sensitivity is demanded in the simplest of conversations.
The processes involve your personal convictions, which are likely to change rather dramatically in the course of 2007-09. You are likely to become more aware of how fleeting life is and where the true meaning of life lies. Hey, you knew it wasn't the money, riches and fame. Your aspirations keep changing, mutating, as your quest for understanding the meaning of life becomes a strong backdrop to your life's play.
Family matters are very important this year starting June. Progress is slower than you'd like. Tempers can flare, things that are going on can be blown out of proportion and there is that 'hurry up and wait' feeling that won't let up. Allowing issues to remain unresolved tends to aggravate the situation.
Handling finances better, learning about investments and paying down debt are some of the major issues in 2007 and into 2008. Work matters enter into the picture in the second half of the year. You may find that your workload increases or dealing with co-workers takes more effort from mid-year on.
You might be in perfect health but be faced with having to spend time with someone who isn't doing so well, typically someone you care about. What is frustrating is the fact that we cannot just fix it by taking action. The emotional component of life is strong throughout the year. You might catch the virus that is going around and recover very quickly—take your vitamins and avoid working too hard February through mid-April.
During May and June, your enthusiasm grows. This year Jupiter is in a fire sign and your Sun is in a fire sign—this influence helps smooth out things and keep your optimism high. Read your Jupiter horoscope.
Take note of your dreams, pay attention to synchronistic happenings and spend some time contemplating the meaning of life.
Throughout the Summer, with the most active time line being from July 27 to September 8, issues centered on romance/creativity and children take on added significance. This is an excellent time to create a stronger bond with the people in your heart. Spend time with your children, lover and dust off your creative project. Make room for activities that make you feel alive through evaluating what is most important to you now. For clues, spend a moment reviewing what happened in your life during the same period in the Summer of 1999.
At the end of September through the end of the year (to be continued in 2008…), Mars begins its slow motion, which influences your home life and family matters (yet again). By-mid November the issues become more pressing. Even weather conditions are likely to 'wreak havoc'; therefore, it might be a good idea to make up one of those 'emergency kits' for power outages, etc. Spend extra time with family; help a family member cope differently with life and maybe learn to cope with fewer resources. The energy could play out so many ways. Most of us move on with our lives, and don't recall what happened last time Mars was retrograde in Cancer—back in 1992-93. A similar theme plays out but unless we recall what it was, it's harder to pinpoint what it might be now. Because Mars is your ruling planet, the themes can become very personal.
Through October-November, your enthusiasm grows stronger and there is a more urgent need to take a few risks. Your opinions are likely to be altered significantly in the course of the year and some outdated ideas 'die on the vine' around this period.
February 13-March 7, 2007
During these three weeks, pay attention to details, take care of routine maintenance, which in addition to appliances and cars, means your body. Get that annual check up.
June 15 - July 9, 2007
During these three weeks, communications with family members can be more challenging—misunderstandings begin with such innocent comments. Watch how you express your views and opinions. The maintenance items might be the hot water tank and other plumbing items around the house. Also, check the fluid levels in the vehicle, before heading on a longer trip.
October 11-November 1, 2007
During these three weeks, check bank, credit card and other similar financial statements with care. Review insurance policies for potential errors or omissions—better safe than sorry. See Mercury 2007 Calendar etc.
The first part of the year, it's business as usual. February might bring reduced vitality and/or the need to spend more time alone. Beginning May through year-end family matters become important—moving, renovating, relating and even starting a family. From July, onward romance and kids are prominently in the picture. September begins a three-year stretch of working extra hard, maybe going back to school or vocational training. It's a good idea to assess your diet and exercise regimen, and make positive adjustments in order to improve vitality.
