The bracketed notes at the end of the analysis refer to sections in the annual write up that may be helpful in understanding the reasoning behind the write up. For example, NN represents North Node. The pertinent dates are at the end of this write up for quick reference. This htm prints at about six pages.
Overall, this is a year of relating, learning how to deal with those in our every day lives, with friends and naturally with those we love and live with. The needle of the compass is pointed in the area of life where make those big plans for ourselves. March-May brings these in to a strong focus. What are the things you aspire to do in this life? Putting your creative talents to good use in organizing a group or an effort that would benefit the many. Getting involved in politics is a strong possibility at present. Networking and hooking up with friends and colleagues can be beneficial. This year may see lots of changes in your circle of friends, as you get ready to step up to the plate and take a swing at something new. That new needs to be in line with what you wish to achieve and ideally more than a hike in pay. Let these ideas play out, give them a whirl but pick the ones that give you most opportunity to experience new things. You don't like it when things stagnate, and this year you have the opportunity to implement some positive changes. The affairs of children can be prominently in the picture. For some this is the year to start a family, others will find themselves working toward a new career or avocation. [NN]
Until late October Jupiter better known as Mr. Big stays in your 5th house of romance and creativity. Jupiter likes to make things bigger, which can increase the size of your family. You may want a grander residence or look at investments in things concrete. Make sure you don't go chasing fool's gold now. Old flames can return as well. This is a wonderful time to work on literary projects, renovate with flair and have more of those candle-lit dinners for friends and lovers.
The Mercury periods highlight three areas in your life. The ones at the end of the year both 2004 and 2005, bring the house of OTHERS into that proverbial magnifying glass. Clarity of thought does not always translate to words that can only be interpreted one way. Those assumptions we all make forms the challenging part of our relationships. Learning to listen is the lesson, but also finding better ways to express your thoughts. Once in a while we have to state our views adamantly to help establish those boundaries. There are some tall tales with only a fluff of truth; it is best to consider these as entertainment and keep them from growing into gossip. Collect your facts and do your research before presenting your work to the higher ups. Think of the delays as an opportunity to have extra time to polish off projects.
The Mercury period iis the time to enter the big world, restart networking, and to make connections with people who share your interests and passion for making a difference. Some friendships may end and new ones begin. Periodically we need to rekindle dreams and aspirations-review our progress and even change our minds about some of these. Life is a steady motion forward, but our path is altered by the choices we make. When we feel impassioned about what we are pursuing, life takes on completely new meaning. Encourage your mind to take flights of fancy and play out some of those what if scenarios.
If you started something new in the Spring of 2001 - it can now yield beautiful rewards. Any positive shifts and changes that took place back then are coming to fruition. It can also be a time of quiet realization that you want different things from life from here on out. Perhaps friends and socializing is more important than just pursuing worldly goals. The 11th house is the house of good spirit, so no matter how little or much, you will get some pleasant news or gifts at this time. In life we tend to get what we expect, it is getting those expectations sorted out better that starts the influx of good things.
This theme has been going on for a year and a half now. Initially we feel the limitations and recognize the need for new structures with money and time. We may need to learn to look after the money 'trickling' in better, to balance that bank account, to check over those statements and keep closer tabs on those expenditures. As the months have gone by you may have decided that you need to take on that overtime whenever available or get that second job for now. Time has become more precious and you now place value on it, and have become more cognizant of how you allocate it. The more internal them is about how you value yourself. Self-worth is an issue for all of us, and for now it needs to come from within. Cancer likes emotional security the best.
In July when Saturn moves onto Leo, your daily schedules, mode of transportation
and perhaps the desire to return to school or similar to gain new knowledge
becomes the theme for the next 2.5 years (until September 2007). This can
be an excellent time to take up serious writing, to learn how how to fix your
own vehicle or to become more involved in your community. Leo is the sign
associated with children, the theatre and creativity in general - perhaps
these influence your new choices. This is a back drop theme not an acute one
as are the inner planet themes.
The third Mercury period in the Summer involves the house of daily schedules and our immediate environment. It is equally challenging, when we have too much to do, or not enough to occupy our time. This is a good time to sort through papers, and for reorganizing your space and daily routines. It is a good time to work on new concepts for more efficient and productive methods of handling tasks at your workplace, especially if you are looking to get ahead. Maybe dust off any writing, or creative projects you've placed on the back-burner and find renewed inspiration to tackle these. Perhaps you'd rather just catch up on your reading and visit with people you have not had the time to see for the longest time. [Mercury]
At the same time Mercury travels through Leo and has taken up residency there for two months, Mars moves in for an extended, six month, visit of the 12th house. The last time this took place is 1973, who can remember that far back? Mars is active energy and his query typically is - what are you going to do about it? This area of the astrological chart represents our subconscious mind, dreams and is linked to isolation and hospitalization. It isn't naturally going to be all these things for everyone - chances are you will notice this one. In order to look at this in proper light we need to look at the entire chart. However, generally speaking it is important to tend to your health and take up activities that promote good health and vitality in the long-term. This can be the time when you take up a form of meditation, and as we are talking about Mars it might need to be something physical. When it comes to your inner workings you'd prefer to see something concrete. You want to be proven that there is another dimension. Show me the UFO's or spirits - I don't accept it until I have experienced it. Start a dream journal, work with those dreams and insights!
Venus spends three months in the 8th house of your solar chart. The issues of this area of our life are shared resources, the occult subjects, psychology, and commitment. The themes repeat from 1997-98 with slightly different story lines. Are you happy, content and do you love life? The most intimate of our relationships tend to come under thorough scrutiny now; it needs to be give and take with equitable sharing of everything. This is the house of life and death so the issues are taken with gravity. It is easy to create dramas even without it being warranted. You may be particularly suspicious of the motivation of others and ultimately your own. This year make sure you have all your tax receipts safe, as this could be the year of the audit. You might find yourself serving jury duty. Perhaps you'll start your studies of astrology, the Kabbalah, psychology or any other subject matter that deals with the human psyche. [Venus]

If you are looking for more information about your year personally consider one of the two Solar Return Reports available online. These are written from your birthday to birthday. The one by Horacio Valescia is the most popular with my clients; the one by Mary Shea explains some of the astrologic behind the delineation. In addition I added a new predictive report by Gina Ronco on transits, which is like a personal horoscope, and I am getting a lot of requests from my clients for this one. There are also natal reports available for your child, yourself, your relationship and the latest addition is a Karmic Insight Report. - Order a personalized Report - The reports are insightful but cannot replace a personal consultation with an astrologer.
