The bracketed notes at the end of the analysis refer to sections in the annual write up that may be helpful in understanding the reasoning behind the write up. For example, NN represents North Node. The pertinent dates are at the end of this write up for quick reference. This write up prints at about six pages.
All of your encounters with others are about to become interesting. Your innate diplomatic skills will be tested periodically over the next year and a half. When I talk about relationships, I am not simply referring to marriage type partnerships but our encounters will people in general. For the unattached Libra this could be a strong indication that your days as a single person are about to conclude. We talk about Libra being the relationship sign that does not equate that Libra Sun individuals are just poised to be in an intimate relationship the minute they turn of age. Actually, Libra is rather choosy about partnering up. In addition, Jupiter in your Sun sign is making you more appealing, or sort of bigger than life. Your optimism is also on the rise and that tends to be a strong magnet.
We tend to meet a lot of new people during these times, but also get to walk down memory lane when people from the past suddenly reappear. Others are a reflection of ourselves, we only recognize qualities and characteristics we have. We are naive only when someone has a trait that we don't, we don't know what to expect or how to react. The interesting lessons are about learning to be more forceful and you actually might find yourself being uncharacteristically impolite or hasty with some individuals. This is also one of those times when it is easier to release bad habits or let go of the old and totally revamp your physical appearance and/or wardrobe. [NN]
The Mercury periods highlight three areas in your life. The ones at the end of the year both 2004 and 2005, bring the house of communication and daily schedules into focus. It is equally challenging, when we have too much to do, or not enough to occupy our time. This is a good time to sort through papers, and for reorganizing your space and daily routines. It is a good time to work on new concepts for more efficient and productive methods of handling tasks at your workplace, especially if you are looking to get ahead. Maybe dust off any writing, or creative projects you've placed on the back-burner and find renewed inspiration to tackle these. Perhaps you'd rather just catch up on your reading and visit with people you have not had the time to see for the longest time.
The Mercury period in the Spring further highlights relationship matters. This time frame can be one where you meet someone who has a great impact on your life. Clarity of thought does not always translate to words that can only be interpreted one way. Those assumptions we all make forms the challenging part of our relationships. Learning to listen is the lesson, but also finding better ways to express your thoughts. Once in a while we have to state our views adamantly to help establish those boundaries. There are some tall tales with only a fluff of truth; it is best to consider these as entertainment and keep them from growing into gossip. Collect your facts and do your research before presenting your work to the higher ups. Think of the delays as an opportunity to have extra time to polish off projects.
If you started something new in the Spring of 2001 - it can now yield beautiful rewards. Any positive shifts and changes that took place back then are coming to fruition. It can also be a time of quiet realization that you want different things from life from here on out. Sometimes are lives change in a moment - a chance encounter with destiny is the ultimate potential of this stellar event.
This theme has been going on for a year and a half now. Work is hard work
at present, but by now you can see that the effort is starting to pay off.
The security issues might be a tad more challenging to overcome. There have
been changes and adjustments, and you may have felt as your opinions, although
solicited, aren't being heard. In the long-term these are some of the most
productive years we have. Hard work, concerted effort and commitment do not
go unnoticed - I see a potential for nice bonuses with this one. Things ease
up considerably in July when Saturn moves onto Leo, for the next 2.5 years
(until September 2007). Now you are used to working hard, and it is rather
pleasant not a drag any more. Now you are more able to look at the bigger
picture and see the road to the future. Depending on other factors in your
planetary make-up, this can be the time when all that extra responsibility
gets rewarded, and you can begin to build up solid future security. Perhaps
you'll be wearing two hats at the "office" and pulling it off nicely.
Alternately this can be the total opposite, where you are waiting for that
promised pay-hike; but that is only a temporary delay.
The third Mercury period in the Summer involves the house of future, good spirit and hopes, wishes and dreams. Now it is time to enter the big world, restart networking, and to make connections with people who share your interests and passion for making a difference. This can be the time when some friendships end and new ones begin. Periodically we need to rekindle dreams and aspirations; review our progress and even change our minds about some of these. Life is a steady motion forward, but our path is altered by the choices we make. When we feel impassioned about what we are pursuing, life takes on whole new meaning. Encourage your mind to take flights of fancy and play out some of those what if scenarios. [Mercury]
At the same time Mercury travels through Leo and has taken up residency there for two months, Mars moves in for an extended, six month, visit of the area of your solar chart that represents shared assets, resources and commitments. While this period, particularly when Mars is retrograde, can feel like taking one step forward and three back; in the longer term this is an excellent time build up ownership and increase your bottom line. It may be easier to hold onto the extra monies and live within a budget. Taurus is the sign of material wealth and likes steady progress not sudden windfalls. This is the area we also associate with commitment, thus it could indicate new partnerships either business or marriage. It would be prudent to make sure that all those insurance matters are properly taken care of, and that the plumbing type maintenance is handled as a matter of routine. With this one we could be talking about insurance claims, and collecting monies long overdue. Perhaps this is the time you decide to buy your own home and need to check into mortgages, etc.
Venus spends three months in the area that represents home and hearth. The Venus and Mars overlaps add an interesting twist to the year. It makes an additional statement about the strong possibility of changes within the family, starting one or relocating. During these time we tend to examine what is right and what is wrong on the home-front. Venus always asks the question do you LOVE it and are you content? If not you are about to make statements that change the situation more to your liking. Venus is your ruling sign, and you like harmony and equanimity the best - life ought to be fair, and share and share a like. Venus is in Capricorn during this time - that is a sign I associate with fertility, endurance and the penchant for maintaining rather than destroying. [Venus]
