"Begin each day as if it were on purpose"—Mary Anne Radmacher
What is on your mind this year? What are the practical matters you need to learn to handle differently? In 2006 and this year, you are dealing with issues that related to your ability to support yourself and family members. That means things like earning an income, working in an environment that does not upset your emotional well-being and taking strides to ensure that all of this work is leading to a ‘career' or toward a long-term goal that deals with what you could see yourself doing for the next 7 years.
Note: The write-up here is based on the Sun sign and if you happen to know your rising sign, I recommend you read that as well. Remember I am generalizing because the write-ups are intended for the millions who share your Sun sign, an astrologer can be more specific about your life once your date of birth, time of birth and location of birth are known. See special report offer.
Themes related to the above quote that began in 2006, continue in 2007—that underlying theme of having to roll up your sleeves and tackle daily issues with purpose. Let's review the end of last year. October 1 through December 7, there was extra emphasis on money and what you do to earn it and spend it. You might have found yourself stretching those resources too thin. The daily frustrations might have included issues with credit cards, bills, lines of credit and maybe regrets on how you handled expenditures with items you really did not need. You might have thought that you ought to make changes to your job, or worked overtime in order to make ends meet and maybe you also decided it was about time you could afford a few luxuries such as a holiday, new car, etc. But the holidays at the end of the year and the days you could have off, etc. approached so you thought maybe later. The ideas that you mulled over will return for your consideration in September-October 2007 . If you were born around 16-18 October, the cycle becomes personal for you in late October through early November. Did you have a dental check up in the past year or so?
January 15-April 10
During this period the issues pertaining to the 6th house, which is associated with work, chores and health, as well as acquiring and honing practical skills and learning to cope with the practical side of life. These practical issues need be addressed in a fashion that is in line with our emotional sensitivities but in a manner that is rational. In order to survive we need to have a set of skills, to feed ourselves, pay our bills, secure services we need and all kinds of practical mundane skills— common sense can go a long way, but in order to cultivate that sensibility we need to have learned basic coping skills. Co-workers are defined by this house, and while the planetary influence is in this area of our lives it may be the time to learn to understand your co-workers and accept the things that cannot be changed and to learn to take practical steps in order to work toward solutions and improvement with these routine relationships.
Mercury advisory—Head ups: February 13-March 7
Stay cognizant; this is the time, when mix-ups with all kinds of communication, transportation and travel matters are more probable. The trickiest time is from February 1 through about Feb 23.
(The astrology: Mercury in Aquarius January 15-February 2 and March 18 to April 10; Mercury in Pisces February 2 to March 18 and April 10 - 27, Mercury retrograde February 13-March 7)
May-July
The issues belonging to the10th house come under both internal and external impetus for improvement. The 10th house is where we deal with authority figures starting with the parents, and continuing through bosses and governmental bodies. It is also the house of career and status. This astrologically speaking, represents the best we can be in terms of contribution to our family, community, country or the world. This is the house that astrologers view with care to determine our worldly success, our climb on the corporate ladder or the ladder of life experiences. Taurus is a steady climber, preserving status quo and desiring results and rewards in the fullness of time. During this period, we need to learn how to improve what we have accomplished, work solidly toward attaining new rewards and goals, and putting our best foot forward. Naturally, enough this can also be a period where the dissatisfaction that has built up over time demands that we instigate changes so that we can have a career/status or avocation that feeds our inner goals. The problem can be indecisiveness due too many options, ideas and thus choices.
(The astrology Mercury in Cancer May 28-August 4—69 days; Mercury Retrograde June 15-July 9)
The basic notes for the September-October period are in the review part above.
Timeline: June 5 November 3
Did you get ahead of yourself? It might be easy through early Summer to lay plans to rest or consider tasks/projects complete. Compromising on your values and personal priorities does not sit well with you this year. Your goals with career and your most important relationship are the two issues that require extra attention this year. You need to feel appreciated and valued, both personally and professionally. This review period repeats from the same period in 1999.
(Astrology: From June 5 until July 14 and again August 8 to October 7, Venus is in Leo. Venus is in Virgo from July 14 to August 8 and October 7 to November 3. Venus will be retrograde for 43 days starting July 27 and concluding September 8)
Amidst the evaluation process, the element of dealing with structures, rules and limitations steps onto the stage. Work/career matters require compromise; the rub of course is how much are you willing to concede and when are your priorities non-negotiable. Venus, your guiding star, wants her dance card filled first. The past year and a half have seen you working hard, earning your stripes one at a time (slowly). The question is are you paid what you are worth and learning to understand your worth. After September, the limitations are different, and you may find yourself spending more time alone, perhaps dealing with assisting another.
Late fall brings a six month period of having to repeat tasks and maybe relationships you feel you have already dealt with once again the emphasis is on work matters, career and your reputation. Now you have to tackle things more methodically and you may need to deal with irrational behaviour more. The clues to how this might play out for you emerge through May-July.
Where are your convictions changing? What do you want to expand this year? For a few clues, see the Jupiter in Sagittarius Column for the year.
Our personal year begins on our birthday. Astrologers cast a solar return for each year in order to look at the prominent themes for the year. The write-up here is based on the Sun sign and if you happen to know your rising sign, I recommend you read that as well. If you need more information than the columns on the web and your newspaper can provide, I recommend you talk to a professional astrologer. In addition to offering personal consultations, I also have two astrological reports for your personal year. The reports are available directly on line. Check below for a special offer .
For the past few years, I have written rather long annual horoscopes for the year, which is once again a theme. Remember I am generalizing because the write-ups are intended for the millions who share your Sun sign, an astrologer can get more specific about your life once your date of birth, time of birth and location of birth are known.
Most of us are interested in learning more about ourselves and yearn to know what the future might hold for us. Many professional astrologers have written computer-generated reports, which offer a wealth of information. Each one I have purchased has been handpicked, because I personally liked it and it gave me additional insights about me. For example, I have two astrological reports for your personal year. The reports are available directly on line or you can email your request and pay with PayPal (the rates are posted on the order page). During December 2006 and February 15, 2007 you can order a natal report, a solar return report (nearest birth date will be used) and a transit report for a year via email directly from Anne all three for $10. (Note that time of birth is necessary for the solar return report). You can substitute an alternate report for one of the three.
Maybe you would prefer to read your Saturn's Promise, Chakra Healing Report and Karmic Insights instead. Place your order using the shopping cart.
The reports are insightful but cannot replace a personal consultation with an astrologer. Note the special offer on Reports valid through February 15, 2007.
