In hindsight, 2007 had some big developments in terms of career. You direction is different for 2008 than you planned as the year (2007) launched. You had travel that you hadn't anticipated and you earned more money despite your initial worries. Your partner needed support or help from you—maybe you worked together toward a common goal. The new direction you took in 1999 began to take roots.
Beginning mid-January the affairs children become of concern for you, both positive and negative. The duality of life does extend beyond black and white. Your role may be to dole out practical sound advice for them in order to teach them lovingly to handle life's 'ups and downs' in a more matter of fact fashion, rather than simply allow events to control their lives. Creativity is also an issue that will crop now—the off spring of our mind. Whether you have always desired to paint, write or create 'masterpieces', make a scrapbook—now is the time to do something creative that gives you a sense of satisfaction. This is also the area of life where we need and desire to have fun and to PLAY. We need to balance all facets of our lives in order to feel content. This is the time to recreate contentment in your life. You've been breaking free of a rut in this are since 2003, and looking back you can see how you have been making more time for fun things.
There is a period of review February 13-March 7, 2007, during which mix-ups and little glitches afford you extra time to make adjustments and changes. The same period is excellent for heart to heart conversations, especially with partner and children. We change our thinking about important matters slowly. This Spring you are more likely to acknowledge that certain changes are necessary in order for you to advance in the direction you had planned. Heads up: pay closer attention on how you express your views—it's easy to speak out of turn now. Miscommunications can escalate to strained friendships and relationships, people tend to be extra emotional now—including you.
Beginning May and well into 2008, your attitude toward philosophy, religion, studies and in-laws begins to change. Your long held convictions begin to fall by the wayside. This can be an excellent time to consider further studies, teaching or donating your time to assist others. Your inspiration soars and you could market just about anything you believe in. Heads up June 15-July 9, review insurance policies, taxation related paperwork and keep copies of important documents. Make notes and keep lists, as it is easier for you to be forgetful during this time.
We all have more than one issue to contend with each year, October (in particular) and November (in part) bring your attention on you. Do you like how you look, act and what you are doing. The events and feelings of the evaluation period (see next item) fuel your desire to make some attitude adjustments. Don't neglect those annual check ups this year, dentist, doctor, etc. Eat plenty of vitamin rich food or if you must opt for vitamin supplements. The heads up period is from Oct 11 to November 1.
Time lines: June 5-July 14 and August 8-October 7
Are you happy with what you do for a living? Do you feel rewarded with your career? Are you getting recognition? Do you love it? During this time, the question of your priorities becomes important. What is important to you, and what is not? You might come to realize that you are not adequately compensated for what you do, and begin negotiating a different deal. It might best to avoid any major purchases and financial contracts from July 27 to September 8. These Venus themes echo those in the same period in 1999.
You have been learning to more pragmatic and learn limits with career/reputation matters. The limitations begin to lift in September and you can perhaps recognize how much more you accomplished than you thought. Over the next almost three years, your aspirations and goals become more important. Building solid skills and doing more repetitious work won't feel as limiting.
Where are your convictions changing? There are likely to be quite a few events and issues that crop up, which serve as a revelation. Surprisingly these changes center around money and maybe you have realized that it isn't as important as you thought. There is actually a strong chance you are making more—read Jupiter in Sagittarius Column. Your priorities have changed dramatically since 1996 and this is the last complete year in this cycle that moves ahead in the course of 2008.

The affairs of children, spouse and loved ones are a big issue as the year begins. February is a unique month for you. From May onward, what you truly desire out of life becomes an important issue. Travel, studies, teaching and maybe more contact with in-laws and relatives. The latter part of the year is great for publishing, promoting and travel to distance. Your earning capacity is likely to increase this year, but so is your desire to acquire more 'stuff'. 2007 is also likely to bring about big shifts in your priorities, and your avocation/career will shift direction, based on your personal assessment nothing is forced upon you.
