Quintile Notes

"Hi Anne, I love your website!!!! And reading your weeklies is always a thrill and so informative!!! But now you've really got me going lol, and wondering, so I just had to email you, I really hope you don't mind!

I'm a Taurus born April 28, and woooow, what you've said in your pre-read for the weeklies, is that those born between April 25 - May 2 and October 25-November 2 are in for an exceptional year. What do you mean by this Anne, like in what areas of life, and when is this likely to start taking place? I really do hope you don't mind me emailing you and asking this Anne, but those few words really got me going lol. Hear from you soon, Love, Light and Peace Diane xoxo"

On October 28, 2004 a grand quintile aspect pattern, that is the five pointed star, is formed between the Moon, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Pluto, and the Sun, Mercury, Mars and Neptune are also tied into the mix. This alignment is rare we had one on October 1 this year as well, but preliminary research shows that there have only been fifteen of these in the last two thousand years.

Quintiles are linked to the divine intellect; the ability to think creatively, uniquely outside the box and to tap into the cosmic consciousness. In this pattern we have five points that join with this aspect and in my mind I am calling it Divine Intervention. The pattern holds immense potential for any creative and spiritual work; it is akin to the angels sitting on our shoulder. I picked those dates as individuals with their Sun at that point have the pattern in its entirety linked to their Sun. The Sun represents the identity, ego and achieving our full potential. The Sun is the engine that drives us.

It really is a WOW pattern, but it does require that we tune into our life goal. For Taurus and Scorpio Sun it links all areas of life, particularly relationships and goals and aspiration for the future. It is a cross roads point where we are not forced to pick a path but rather given a choice to do so. It is as if the Universe steps in and shows us a more natural path to progress along. On a mundane level without our participation we get a lot of assistance and support from people. The aspects are linked to gifts and talents that we can tap into, so this year can be a time to discover some that you did not realize you had. Ultimately this is about the realization that we are not human beings with spiritual experiences rather spiritual beings with human experiences.

The five pointed star or pentagram encompasses the five elements. The essence is: Earth - stability and physical endurance; Spirit -all there is and the divine; Fire - courage and inspiration; Air - intelligence, divine knowledge; Water of emotions - intuition and surrender. The pentagram is an ancient symbol of protection and one of the old symbols for Venus. We are talking about an inner process more so than an outer experience. However, what we believe will be will be. That is we always get what we expect to get, and in order to change that we need to alter our convictions to support what we desire. The pattern may promote a new awareness of our inner nature, that soft selfless side of our nature that we reserve for the few. Now we have the opportunity to manifest this pure energy within us to bring something we hold dear into a large-scale awereness.

Where do find this pentagram symbol and what does it represent:

To the Hebrew: the symbol of Truth
Pythagoras: the emblem of perfection
Gnostics: the blazing star
Druids: symbol of godhead
Egypt: Knowledge; Underground Womb
Pagan Celts: Goddess Morrigan
Early Christians: Five wounds of Christ
Medieval times: the Endless knot was a symbol of Truth
Sir Gawain's glyph: symbolizing the five knightly virtues - generosity, courtesy, chastity, chivalry and piety
Spirit (soul, heart) is the quintessence - philosophy in ancient and medieval philosophy, the fifth element after earth, air, fire, and water or the purest extract or essence of a substance
The 72° compass of the Masons is the emblem of virtue and duty
One point up = summer, two points up = winter
This symbol also graces the uniforms and planes of the US Army
in advertisements shows that a service or product is subject to a seniors discount
Also on Mormon temples.
It is actually quite an eye opener to note in how many instances this symbol is used.
The pentagram symbol is typically associated with Wicca and magic
However, it is an ancient symbol of protection and was also used to represent Venus.
Rose represents rebirth and resurrection

The one draw back with this pattern maybe that we allow logic to over rule our heart desire, and a few lovely days fizzle into memories. I have found these patterns pronounced when looking at relationships. There is a strong karmic quality and a natural affinity between the people whose charts are linked by these types of aspects.

I am working on my manuscript on Venus, which will include the pentagram and its symbolism, and what this aspect is all about. The book will likely be available late 2005 or early 2006.
